
Sturmgeschutz IV or "Stug"
This picture was taken in Italy and the man in white is Field-Marshal Kesselring, the German Commander-in-Chief in the theater. This is not Otto's vehicle; his was the long barrel variety and the German arms industry only made 30 or so of this model. Also, the SS did not allow private pictures and certainly not during top secret preparations for the Battle of the Bulge.
